Proposed: To be able to physically care for yourself. To be conscious of the body's internal systems and their ability to function adequately.

Rationale: Simplicity

New Label: Physical Function Old label: Function/Physical

    If this is about my body being able to 'do the basics' as a means of my survival, then, for me the language in the descriptor should reflect this.

    My current personal experience is that I would say I am able to physically care for myself and I am conscious or my internal system, yet i am currently unable to get much left and right rotation of my neck. So for me, I am unable to perform the minimal manipulation of turning my head left or right and I do have concern about my body’s internal systems’ ability to change this.
    So my suggestion would be

    To be concerned about your body (internally and externally) and its ability to perform basic functions
