Suggested New Value: To assist an orderly distribution of power in a social system so that people feel confident in living their values while fulfilling their purpose.
Rationale: No value currently exists that considers how a leader may enable authentic actions of people in a group.
Suggested Statements #1: I believe it is important to inspire diversity and care for people in an organization by focusing on strengthening relationships. (Might use "building social intelligence" instead of "strengthening relationships", but the former is a relatively new construct that is perhaps not as obvious as the latter...thoughts??)
Suggested Statements #2: I believe in creating a culture of mutual responsibility and accountability in an organization.

ReplyDeleteThinking stewardship (long held by Maori and other 'earth connected' cultures) is certainly something we (in our work in NZ) hear more frequently. it is in the context of being an alternative to thinking ownership
Likened to being a custodian, guardian, caretaker typically of land/natural resources for the future generations
