I really like the original but it is probably because it expressed my value so well that I have a hard time seeing beyond the passion I feel to eliminating some of the words.
ReplyDeletePerhaps: To accurately hear & sense the thoughts & feelings of another and to trust a shared value of integrity exists for your own personal expression.
I tend to find that this is a descriptor where every aspect of the existing version has significance for people and I would be reluctant to lose any of its richness. I think partly because it is in two sentances it makes the duality of this - it is about me and about the other person - very clear.
