Existing online: To adjust yourself readily to changing conditions and to remain flexible during ongoing processes.
Proposed: To readily adjust yourself and remain flexible in changing circumstances even under stressful conditions.
Rationale: Adding "stress" may help to expand the meaning and use
Final: To be flexible and adaptable in response to changing circumstances.
To adjust yourself readily to changing conditions and to remain flexible during ongoing processes, even under stressful conditions.
ReplyDeletePerhaps just add the stressful bit at the end, rather than change the whole sentence structure?

ReplyDeleteI don't think there's a need to mention stress at all.
ReplyDeleteLike the current definition.
ReplyDeletegoing with our descriptor criteria, how about:
ReplyDelete"To be flexible in times of change and willing to adjust yourself to new circumstances/processes"
Another suggestion: "To be flexible and adaptable in response to changing circumstances."
